Storm Technology shortlisted for two Tech Excellence Awards in 2024

Microsoft business technology consultancy, Storm Technology, is proud to announce its finalist status for the Public Sector and Private Sector Project of the Year awards at Tech Excellence 2024. Now in their 22nd year, the awards celebrate the very best in technology innovation and recognise the outstanding achievements of companies in the Irish tech sector.
Recognising the transformative power of technology across a wide variety of organisations (Public Sector, Private Sector and SME) the Project of the Year awards are presented to those projects which have delivered outstanding operational and competitive advantage.
Private Sector Project of the Year Award - Focus Ireland
Providing essential services such as advice and support, Focus Ireland advocates for homeless people in Ireland, ensuring their rights remain on the social and political agenda. Helping thousands of individuals and families avoid homelessness or finding a new home each year, Focus Ireland partnered with Storm to design and implement a modern financial management solution to transform financial operations and facilitate growth at scale. By harnessing the power of Microsoft Business Central the team reduced an over-reliance on manual processes while optimising reporting and enhancing employee experience, enabling Focus Ireland to continue to deliver quality services that keep the dignity of customers at the heart of operations.

Public Sector Project of the Year Award - Eurofound
Established in 1975, Eurofound (The European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions) is a tripartite European Union (EU) agency and public body organisation that works to provide knowledge to assist in the development of better social, employment and work-related policies. As part of an ambitious website re-platforming initiative, Eurofound partnered with Storm Technology to modernise their data collection and analysis process with the introduction of low code solution Power Platform, hitting tight project deadlines, boosting data governance and boosting collaboration through seamless integration across the Microsoft technology ecosystem.

This year's award will take place at the Royal Marine Hotel, Dun Laoghaire on the 23rd of May 2024, where the winners will be announced.
