The Digital Transformation & AI Awards honor Ireland’s top innovators in technology and digital excellence, shining a spotlight on organisations that are reshaping success in a fast-changing world defined by technological advancement. These awards commend those who are addressing complex issues and driving meaningful progress with forward-thinking strategies and cutting-edge technologies. Further, the awards foster collaboration and inspiration within the technology industry, while providing the opportunity to showcase innovative projects that have delivered a significant business impact. With that, Storm is delighted to announce that it has been shortlisted for not one, but two awards at this year’s Digital Transformation and AI Awards.

Best Digital Transformation Award – Construction & Facilities Management: Glenveagh Properties

This award acknowledges the business in the Irish construction industry that has demonstrated a commitment to transforming their organisation through the successful implementation and adoption of digitalisation, digital methodologies and/or technologies.

Formed in 2017, Glenveagh Properties has emerged as one of Ireland’s premier home builders, known for its unwavering commitment to the delivery of high-quality and sustainable homes in flourishing communities across Ireland.

To support the business’ digital-first mission and address issues to do with fragmented data, Glenveagh partnered with Storm Technology, an Irish-based business technology consultancy with expertise in delivering Microsoft solutions. Storm helped implement 4PS, a robust enterprise resource planning solution designed to meet the needs of the construction industry. Microsoft’s customer relationship management system, Dynamics 365, was later integrated, followed by Dynamics 365 Customer Insights, a marketing automation solution. Together these solutions helped Glenveagh build a fully integrated technology system which consolidated all core data, enhanced transparency and control of operations, and facilitated process automation which streamlined business processes and boosted organisational efficiency.

Best Customer Experience Impact Award:  Windsor Motor Group

This award recognises the business that has made a positive impact delivering better outcomes to customers, as well as the business itself, through digital transformation.

Established in 1964, Windsor Motor Group is a trusted name in the motor distribution industry, supplying new and used cars to customers across Ireland. In 2024 Windsor Motor Group set out on a digital transformation journey to help support its mission of providing the best quality, affordable cars, and the highest standards of customer service to its clients.

Having previously worked with the business to implement a CRM system, Windsor reached out to Storm Technology, who helped develop a vehicle appraisal solution using Microsoft’s low-code Power Platform. Prior to the solution implementation, customers needed to travel to their nearest Windsor dealership to carry out an in-person vehicle inspection and appraisal, a time-consuming process for employees and customers. However, the vehicle appraisal app now enables remote, self-service vehicle appraisals, meaning customers no longer need to travel to a Windsor branch to receive an in-person car valuation. The process is now entirely streamlined and much more convenient for customers, especially those living in rural areas.

D365 Customer Insights was also integrated with the app to unify customer data and unlock real-time customer insights. The addition of this solution enabled Windsor to unlock a 360-degree view of customer journeys, allowing them to create more personalised marketing campaigns and communications, as well as facilitating workflow automation with Microsoft’s low-code automation solution, Power Automate. Customers now receive automatic notifications tailored specifically to them, such as when a car service needs to be booked or if there are manufacturing offers available for their car model. The digital transformation project has allowed Windsor to create a streamlined and standardised vehicle appraisal process, modernising the customer experience and ensuring they receive the best quality service at each Windsor branch.

Storm is delighted to have been recognised for its work on both of these projects, and we look forward to the awards ceremony, which takes place at the Royal Marine Hotel, Dun Laoghaire on the 19th of June.
