The world of work has irreversibly changed as people now work with much more agility and flexibility than ever before. Yet business leaders and employees still seem to be struggling to get to grips with the modern workplace and truly capitalise on its potential.

In order to better understand the key issues facing Irish companies from an IT perspective, we commissioned a survey with Tech Central, in association with Microsoft, to get the opinions of IT decision-makers in larger enterprises and businesses across Ireland.

Key Report Findings include;

  • €1.5 Million is the estimated spend per large enterprise/business on modernising their workplace in 2023.

  • 69% see a positive impact of remote/hybrid working on business growth.

  • 27% of leaders said creating a 100% remote environment was a top driver for workplace modernisation.

  • 64% of respondents think employee engagement solutions benefit productivity in their organisation.

  • 65% don't think their company is using remote/hybrid solutions to their full potential.

  • 48% cite a lack of digital skills ars a leading barrier to collaboration when remote/hybrid working.

  • 35% of companies have adapted their data governance strategy for remote/hybrid working.

  • 61% of leaders find it challenging to uphold standards of data governance in their organisations.

For organisations that adopt the right technologies and adapt their strategies to empower people, not envelop them the remote/hybrid landscape provides an opportunity for business growth. To find out more about the report findings and recommendations, download the report using the link below:
